The fifth class students will participate in the Primary scholarship examination in each upazila headquarters. A maximum of 10% of fifth class students of each primary school can participate in this examination. Primary Scholarship Exam Information
- Prior to 2009, only selected students were allowed to participate in the scholarship examination. Scholarship students are selected from among all students after the commencement of Primary Education Completion (PEC) examination from 2009.
- On November 28, 2022, it was suddenly decided to take the scholarship test for the fifth grade students of primary school. However, no final decision has been reached in this regard yet.
- In this decision, it is said that 10 percent students of the fifth class will get the opportunity to participate in the scholarship examination in the last week of December. This examination will be held at the upazila headquarters.
- However, many people cannot accept this decision as correct. Considering the contemporary aspect, it is thought that this may be discriminatory for many students. It is not acceptable that only 10% of the students will participate in the scholarship examination.

A total of 100 marks will be accepted in the Primary scholarship examination of 2022. 10 percent of fifth class students from each primary school will be able to participate in this exam and this exam will be held in each upazila headquarters. Questions will be asked from Bengali, English, Mathematics and Science subjects.

- This year a total of 100 marks will be held in the scholarship examination. This exam will be held in each upazila headquarter for 2 hours. 10 percent students from each school will get an opportunity to participate in the exam. Others won’t stand a chance.
- Participation in the scholarship examination is not compulsory for all students. 25 marks will be asked from Bengali, English, Mathematics and Science subjects. Students have to answer all the questions within the allotted two hours.
