The application process for the 2022-2023 academic year for admission in the institutions under the National University has started online. All the students admitted in the honors first year class under the National University have to fill the application form on the National University Admissions website and submit the initial application through the mobile banking prescribed by the college. A certain amount of money has to be deposited by the National University within the stipulated time.
Information about National University Honours 1st Year Admission Procedure and Number Distribution is given below-
For admission in the colleges under the National University, each college will prepare a separate merit list and the candidates will be admitted in the 1st year Honours class of the department according to the order of preference.
Twice as many students in the same institution or college in the same subject will be awarded on the basis of the age of the candidate and the result of SSC and HSC examinations in the same case.
Students must be admitted in accordance with the rules laid down by the National University for Admission.
National University Honors 1st Year Admission Eligibility
Students must have the following qualifications for admission in Honours first year class in 2022-2023 academic year under National University.
Students who have obtained minimum GPA 3.50 in 2018-2019 SSC examination in Humanities branch and minimum GPA 3.00 in HSC examination 2020/2021 can apply from any Board of Education in Bangladesh.
All Students who have obtained minimum GPA of 3.50 in 2018-2019 SSC examination and minimum GPA 3.50 in HSC examination of 2020/2021 can apply for Science / Business Education from any Board of Education in Bangladesh.
Students have to determine the subjects to be admitted from the subjects studied in the Higher Secondary and equivalent examinations. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in HSC or equivalent examination in that subject.
The student has to fill the preliminary application form for the department from which he has passed HSC or equivalent examination.
Students who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination from the Department of Home Economics will fill up the application form for the humanities.

Subject Preference:
If you select the college in the above step, the student will see the list of subjects according to his qualifications. Candidates have to carefully select the topics from this list. Subjects will be awarded on merit basis according to the student’s preference order.
Quota:
Students seeking admission in the quota have to select the applicable quota from the specified place in the table. In case of quota application, the candidate must have proper certificate. If a candidate has more than one quota, the quota preference order must be determined.
Add Photo:
Once the correct information is provided, the candidate has to scan and upload the newly taken color picture at the designated place in the application form. A student will only have the opportunity to change the picture once.
Submit Application Form:
After providing all the information correctly, the application form has to be submitted if the table with photo is filled.
Form Submission and Fee Payment:
The student has to sign the printed initial application form at the designated place on the day. Along with this application form the student has to submit the attested number sheet of secondary and higher secondary examination, attested photocopy of the registration card and 250 Taka for the initial application fee to the concerned college. After the scheduled time of submission of application form, the candidates will be informed of the confirmation information via SMS to their mobile number.

The admission fee for the Honours first year has been fixed at 485 Taka by the National University. At the time of final admission, the student has to confirm the admission by paying this fee. The student has to pay the admission fee at the following rate-
