GST (General, Science and Technology) Admission Circular 2023
Table of Contents
A total of 22 universities including 9 general and 13 science and technology universities will participate in this GST admission process. Students will have the opportunity to take admission in any one of these 22 universities by participating in an admission test. GST admission test 2023 will be taken in three steps in GST system. Admission test will be taken in July and August.
22 public universities of the country are taking admission test in GST system. If the students pass this admission test, they will get admission in only one university. In the 2020-2021 academic year, 20 universities took admission test in GST system. The GST system will include two more universities of science and technology and a general university this year. Kishoreganj University of Science and Technology, Chandpur University of Science and Technology and Habiganj Agricultural University will participate in the system.
The date of Cluster (GST) Admission Test for the students of 2021-2023 academic year has been announced. The following time Cluster (GST) admission test will be taken. Examination of each unit will start at 12:00 noon and will end at 1:00.

Students will be able to participate in the GST admission test after completing the final application. Students will have to complete the final application of GST admission test within the stipulated time.
Students must complete the initial application within the stipulated time to participate in the Cluster (GST) Admission Test. Eligible candidates will be selected by the authorities from among all the candidates who have initially applied. Only selected students can participate in the admission test. The following qualified students can apply initially.
Department of Science (A Unit)
Candidates who have passed the SSC equivalent examination will have to obtain a total GPA of 6.00 with a minimum GPA of 3.50 in SSC and HSC examinations.
Students from the Science Department of the General Education Board as well as the Vocational and Science Department of the Madrasa Board will also be able to apply.
Department of Humanities (B Unit)
Candidates who have passed the SSC equivalent examination will have to obtain a total GPA of 6.00 with a minimum GPA of 3.00 in SSC and HSC examinations.
Students of Music Home Economics and Humanities Department of Madrasa Board including Humanities Branch of General Education Board will be able to apply.
Department of Business Education (C Unit)
Candidates who have passed the SSC equivalent examination will have to obtain a total GPA of 6.50 with a minimum GPA of 3.50 for SSC and HSC examinations.
The Diploma in Business Studies along with the Commerce Branch of the Board of General Education will be considered as the Business Management and Diploma in Commerce Commerce Branch.
