Unit B of Dhaka University consists of a total of ten faculties and 44 departments. Students who have passed the Humanities Department from all the educational institutions across the country will be able to participate in the Dhaka University B Unit Admission Test. Students will be admitted in the 5 year term undergraduate (honors) program in the Faculty of Pharmacy and in other faculties for a period of 4 years from the specific faculties of A unit of Dhaka University. Important information regarding DU B Unit admission is given below.
To apply for admission in B unit of Dhaka University, the student must have passed SSC or equivalent examination between the years 2016 to 2019 and must have passed the Higher Secondary or equivalent examination in 2021. Candidates should have a total GPA of 7.50 including the fourth subject at the secondary and higher secondary level. However, in any test, less than 3.00 GPA will not be acceptable.
Dhaka University B Unit Examination Mark Distribution
A total of 100 marks will be taken in 2 steps in Dhaka University B Unit. Students will take MCQ and written test.
There will be 60 marks in the multiple choice system and 40 marks in the written system. Students will be given a total time of 1 hour 30 minutes with 45 minutes for both the exams. In case of multiple choice examination, 0.25 marks will be deducted from the total marks obtained by the student for giving wrong answer to each question.

In order to pass the Dhaka University B Unit Admission Test, the student has to get minimum 40 percent marks. In which you have to get 5 marks 24 in the multiple choice part and minimum 12 marks in the written test. Students who get less than 40 marks in both the exams will be considered as unsuccessful. Only the students who have passed the examination will be selected.
Merit List
The merit of the students will be based on a total of 120 marks. 100 marks in the admission test and the remaining 20 marks will be awarded based on the GPA obtained by the student for HSC and SSC examinations.
