354 candidates will be recruited for the post of prison guards and 29 candidates for the post of women prison guards. Candidates have to apply online in prescribed process.
In order to apply for this vacancy through online, the interested candidate must have passed minimum SSC or equivalent examination.
Minimum Physical Qualification
Height: Male 1.67 m, Female 1.57 m
Chest Size: Male 81.28 cm, Female 76.81 cm
Weight: Male 52 kg Female 45 kg
Marital Status: All interested candidates must be unmarried. The unmarried condition is relaxable only in the case of children of freedom fighters.
Age of Application in Prison Department
In case of applying for Prison Guard and Female Prison Guard post of Department of Prison, the age of the candidates should be minimum 18 to maximum 21 years as on December 1, 2021. In case of children of freedom fighters or martyred freedom fighters, maximum age limit is 32 years.

Application Fee
All candidates have to pay application fee of Rs.112 within maximum 72 hours of online application. You can pay the application fee using the Teletalk Prepaid SIM in a specified process.
Pay the application fee by following the procedure below by depositing the specified amount in the mobile number.
First SMS: Write PRISON <space> User ID and send to 16222.
Second SMS: Write PRISON <space> YES <space> PIN and send to 16222.
A PIN number will be assigned to your mobile number after sending the first SMS. Use that pin number while sending the second SMS.
