Dental College Admission Apply Eligibility
To be admitted to dental colleges, the student must have completed the minimum qualifications. Students with minimum qualifications will be able to apply online and participate in the admission test. To complete the online application form, the student must have the following qualifications.

Only the mentioned qualified students can apply for the Dental Admission Circular 2023 and the eligibility for admission is subject to passing the admission test.
Dental Admission Test Process
A total of 100 multiple choice questions will be asked in the dental BDS course admission test. The value of each question is 1 and for each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted from the number obtained by the student. The time allotted to the students for the examination of 100 marks is 1 hour or 60 minutes. However, each student will be given an additional 5 minutes to complete the OMR sheet.
Students will be assessed on the basis of total 300 marks. Of which 100 marks in written test and 200 marks obtained on GP. Below is information on how to provide GPA numbers.
The merit list will be prepared after adding the marks obtained in the admission test and the marks obtained in GPA. Students who get less than 40 marks in the written test will not be included in the merit list. Merit list will be made only for students who are more than 40 and have passed.
BDS Course GPA Number Determination Method
Numbers will be generated from GPA obtained in SSC and HSC examinations in the following manner.
15 times GPA obtained in SSC or equivalent examination = 75 marks maximum 25 times GPA obtained in HSC or equivalent examination = 125 marks maximum |
BDS Course Dental Merit List Preparation
In the academic year 2022-23, 5 marks will be deducted from the total marks of the candidates who have passed the HSC examination of the previous year in the dental college admission test. And in case of students enrolled in various government medical or dental colleges / units during the previous year, the merit list will be prepared by deducting 7.5 marks from the total marks obtained.
The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination and the sum of the marks obtained in the SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examinations in the manner described in the Circular paragraph.

Dental College Admission Mark Distribution
Admission test will be taken in dental colleges according to the following distribution. Students will be asked questions from Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English and General Knowledge subjects in the Dental 2023 Admission Test. In this case 30 marks from Biology, 25 marks from Chemistry, 20 marks from Physics, 15 marks from English and 10 marks from General Knowledge (History and Liberation War of Bangladesh) total 100 marks will be asked.
