Class XI Admission Rules 2023 (Academic Year 2022-23)

The Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has published a notification regarding the admission information for Class XI. Like last year, students can apply for admission by selecting a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 colleges.
Like last year, the admission application fee has been fixed at 150 rupees. Students will complete the application process from the website www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd after paying the application fee through SMS from Teletalk Prepaid SIM or using mobile banking app within the stipulated time.
Students who have cleared the SSC 2022 equivalent examination can apply online for admission to class 11 or college in the academic year 2022-2023. The Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has informed that the online application process for college admission will start from 8 December 2022.
The admission policy for Class XI for the academic year 2022-2023 will be published soon. And then students can apply for college admission from www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd website according to that policy.

Students must have the following qualifications for admission to class XI or college in the academic year 2022-23.
The students who have passed the SSC and equivalent examination of 2020 2021 or 2022 will be considered eligible for admission in class XI in any college or similar institution as per the policy given for the academic year 2022 2023.
Students who have passed the honors examination from a foreign poll or similar institution will be considered eligible for admission after determining the standard of certificate given by the Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Dhaka.
Students who have passed out of Open University in the current year and all other years who have passed out can apply for admission manually.
11th Class/College Admission Application Process 2023
Students must visit the website (www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd) for class 11th or college admission. Online application for Class XI admission can be made only through this specific website.
Applications of students will be accepted in total three stages. According to the results of the first phase, those students who do not get admission will apply for the second phase. And the students will apply for the third step if they do not get admission in the second step result. Simultaneously the results of first and second phase migration for students will be released. Even if they want to migrate, students must confirm their admission as soon as they get the opportunity.
If the college does not confirm within the time specified by the board, the students will have to complete the application anew along with paying the fee again. Once the results of the three phases are declared, the admission of the students will be confirmed and then the classes of class XI will start.
Class XI Admission Application Fee 2023
The application fee for class XI admission is fixed at 150 Taka. And the students who get the admission opportunity will pay a total fee of 228 Taka at the time of initial confirmation of admission.
All admission fees are fixed by the board. No organization can accept more than this fee.
College Admission Application Fee Payment Method
Students can pay the application fee for class 11 using several modes. From there students can easily pay the application using Teletalk Prepaid SIM and using bKash App.
The rules for paying college admission application fee by using Teletalk Prepaid SIM and by using bKash App are mentioned below.
1st SMS: CAD <space> WEB <space> 1st 3 letters of SSC Board Name <space> SSC Exam Roll <space> Next Year of Exam
Now send the message to 16222. The return SMS will contain the name of the applicant and how the application will be deducted 150 Taka and a PIN number will be provided.
2nd SMS: CAD <space> YES <space> PIN <space> Contact Number
And send this message to 16222. If the application is paid correctly, a mobile confirmation SMS will be sent.
Group Selection Process for College Admission
Students must choose the group or department wisely while applying for college admission in Class XI.
In case of admission of students passed from General Education Board
1. Students who have passed the science department can apply for admission in any of the science, humanities and business education groups. However, once a student is admitted to a group other than science, he cannot return to the science group later.
2. Students who pass from humanities group can get admission in any group of humanities and business education.
3. Students who pass from Business Education group can get admission in any one of Business Education and Humanities group.
In case of students passed from Madrasa Board
1. Students who pass Science Group can get admission in either Science, Humanities and Business Education of General Education Board and Science, General Group and Mujabbid Group of Madrasa Education Board.
2. Students who pass from general group can get admission in any of Humanities and Business Education of General Education Board and General Group and Mujabbid Group of Madrasa Education Board.
3. Students passing from Mujabbid group can get admission in any of Humanities and Business Education of General Education Board and General Group and Mujabbid Group of Madrasa Education Board.
4. Students who pass Dakhil (Vocational) Group can get admission in any of Madrasa Education Board’s Science, General Group and Mujabbid Group.
In case of students passed from Technical Education Board
1. Students who pass SSC (Vocational)/Dakhil (Vocational) group can get admission in any of the Science, Humanities and Business Education groups of General Education Board.
2. Students who have passed SSC and equivalent examination from any department (Science, Humanities and Business Education) can get admission in any of the Home Economics and Music groups.
Class XI Online Admission 2022-23
Students who have passed SSC and equivalent examinations from all education boards of Bangladesh can apply online for admission to class XI in the academic year 2022-2023. All students must complete their application process by visiting www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd website.
Students can take admission opportunity by applying online only. Students cannot get admission in the institution of their choice through any means other than online. Students can apply to a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 colleges or equivalent institutions on the basis of preference by paying a total application fee of 150 Taka.
Based on the application of the student, his placement in only one college will be decided according to his merit quota and preference order.
