Admission test will be taken for the purpose of admit of students against a total of 1215 seats in 2022-23 academic year. Students will be selected from among all the students who have applied for this admission test. BUET Admission Eligibility
To apply for the BUET Admission Circular 2023 and to participate in the BUET Admission Test, the student must have a minimum qualification. Only qualified students will have the opportunity to participate in the BUET Admission Test. Eligibility to participate in the admission test are –
SSC Exam: Under any board of education, one has to pass the SSC exam of 2019 from science department with minimum GPA 4.50.
HSC Exam: Under any board of education, in 2021, HSC exam must be passed from science department with minimum GPA 4.5.
All students in the initial application process will apply to participate in the admission test. Out of them, a total of 24,000 students will be selected according to the marks obtained in HSC examination in Chemistry and Physics and will be given the opportunity to participate in the admission test. All students must complete the application as soon as possible to participate in the admission test.

To apply for BUET Admission Circular 2023, follow the steps given below.
First visit the university website buet.ac.bd or click on the Apply Now option provided above.
Properly fill out the BUET application form to access the website. And upload your newly taken passport size photo and signature at the designated place.
After completing all the required information in the application form, click on the preview button and review all the information again. If any kind of wrong information is provided, you can update it.

Once the application is submitted, you will get a 5 digit serial number on the next page. Click on the ‘Download Application Receipt Download’ option below to save the PDF version of the completed application receipt online.

To participate in the admission test, the student has to fill up an online application form. After filling the application form, the student can pay the application fee through Sonali Bank Online Portal, Sonali Bank Mobile App, Cash, Rocket, Bkash Mobile or Online Banking.

Preliminary selection test will be taken according to four methods. Candidates will be selected from among all the applicants on the basis of merit and for participation in the final examination of SSC and HSC candidates.
