The 454th BCS written exam will be held from 29 December 2023 to 11 January 2023. Examination of compulsory subjects and post related subjects will be held within the scheduled date. 45th BCS written examination center list and seat arrangement information will be informed from the website of Public Service Commission (www.bpsc.gov.bd) respectively.

45th BCS Exam Total Posts
A total of 1,710 officers will be recruited in the 45th BCS examination. Out of which there are 250 people in administration cadre, 50 people in police cadre, 30 people in audit and accounts cadre, 485 people in technical cadre, 776 people in education cadre, 10 people in foreign affairs cadre, 27 people in family planning cadre, 8 people in cooperative cadre, information cadre. 10, 23 in postal department, 7 in railway transport and commerce cadre, 6 in commerce and 11 in tax cadre will be recommended from Prague.
All the candidates will appear in the 4540th BCS written exam as per the scheduled time. A total of 900 marks exam will be conducted in compulsory and post related subjects.

Candidates who have cleared the 45th BCS Preliminary Exam will participate in the written exam of mass 900 marks. 26 cadres are divided into general cadre and technical/professional cadre according to the teaching qualification of candidates determined in BCS examination.
Candidates of both categories of cadres will have to appear in the written test as per separate subject and manning.
